The Doctor

Dr. Steven Nguyen, DDS

Founder & Lead Dentist

A Texas native, Dr. Steven Nguyen graduated from The University of Texas at Austin before earning his dental degree in Dallas at Texas A&M School of Dentistry. He focuses on patient comfort and transparency and thinks about oral health as part of overall health. Helping people feel less anxious about the dentist is something he genuinely enjoys.

Dr. Nguyen dedicates hundreds of hours each year to continuing education and stays active in community outreach across the DFW area.

Dr. Nguyen's expertise encompasses all aspects of dentistry, from treating children to performing complex procedures like root canals and implants. His true excitement lies in smile design, helping patients achieve the smiles they're happiest with.

The Kois Center is a post-graduate dental education facility in Seattle recognized as one of the most rigorous in the world. Fewer than 1% of dentists in the U.S. complete this training. The curriculum covers bite, jaw joint, gum health, and tooth structure as an integrated system, which is why Dr. Steven approaches diagnosis and treatment planning differently than most dentists.

Dental Assistant

A Galveston native, Stefanie has called Dallas home for the past 11 years. At MDRN Dental Studio, she makes it her job to make patients feel at ease — she works closely with the dental team on every procedure and takes the details seriously.

When she's not at the studio, Stefanie enjoys reading, hiking local trails, and painting.

Stefanie is focused on continuously growing her skills in the field. Her care for patients shows in the details — how she sets up a room, how she explains a procedure, how she checks in during treatment.

Financial Coordinator

Kimmy brings over 8 years of dental experience to her role as Financial Coordinator. She genuinely enjoys helping patients — whether that means working through their schedule, explaining insurance options, or just making the front desk experience less stressful. She says working with Dr. Steven, someone who truly cares about his patients, makes the job easy.

With 14 years of customer service experience and credentials as an RDA and Cosmetologist, Kimmy brings both technical knowledge and warmth to the practice. Getting every patient's experience right is what she focuses on every day.
