A Texas native, Dr. Steven Nguyen graduated from The University of Texas at Austin before earning his dental degree in Dallas at Texas A&M School of Dentistry. He built MDRN Dental Studio around the kind of dental visit he believes patients deserve: clear, comfortable, thorough, and never rushed.
Dr. Nguyen focuses on helping patients understand what is happening in their mouth and why a treatment may or may not make sense. His restorative philosophy is shaped by conservative dentistry: preserving healthy tooth structure, using adhesive techniques thoughtfully, and choosing the least invasive option that can still support long-term function.
His advanced training includes the Kois Center, implant education through Implant Pathway, and education from leading doctors in conservative and adhesive dentistry, including Pascal Magne and Didier Dietschi. That background influences how he approaches implant planning, bonding, onlays, overlays, crowns, veneers, bite stability, and long-term restorative care.
