Your Safety
Sterilization & Safety Practices
We maintain hospital-grade cleanliness standards so you can focus entirely on your care.
Our Commitment
A Clean Office Is a Safe Office
At MDRN Dental Studio, infection control is not a checklist — it is woven into every aspect of how we operate. From the moment one patient leaves to the moment the next walks in, we follow a rigorous set of protocols to ensure a safe, sterile environment for everyone in our practice.
01
Medical-Grade Cleaning
Every operatory and common area is cleaned between patients using hospital-grade disinfectants. Our protocols meet and exceed the standards set by the CDC and ADA — so every patient enters a fresh, thoroughly sanitized space.
02
Instrument Sterilization
All reusable dental instruments are individually packaged, run through a Class B autoclave, and verified sterile before each use. Single-use items are disposed of after every patient — no exceptions.
03
Dental Waterline Safety
Our dental waterline maintenance includes Sterisil straw treatment and routine water-quality protocols. Sterisil documentation states its dental water microbiological cartridges maintain dental unit waterlines at 10 CFU/mL or less — a target 50 times lower than the CDC/EPA routine dental-treatment water standard of 500 CFU/mL.
04
Air Filtration Systems
Our office is equipped with high-efficiency air filtration throughout the clinical areas. These systems continuously cycle and purify the air, reducing airborne particles and maintaining a clean breathing environment for patients and staff alike.
05
Attention to Detail
Every surface that may be touched during a visit — headrests, handles, trays, light handles — is barrier-covered or disinfected between patients. We leave nothing to chance.
06
Enhanced Safety Protocols
Our team follows strict hand hygiene procedures and wears appropriate PPE for every procedure. We conduct regular training to stay current with evolving infection control guidance from the CDC, OSHA, and the ADA.
07
Transparency You Can Trust
We are happy to walk any patient through our sterilization process. If you have specific questions or concerns about infection control, our team welcomes the conversation before, during, or after your appointment.
Compliance & Standards
Meeting the Highest Standards
Our infection control protocols are designed to comply with and exceed guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the American Dental Association (ADA), and OSHA. We conduct regular internal reviews and staff training to stay current with updated guidance.
For dental unit waterlines, we use strict water testing and cleanliness protocols with Sterisil straw treatment. The official Sterisil instructions state that its dental water microbiological cartridges maintain waterlines at 10 CFU/mL or less, while CDC guidance lists the routine dental-treatment water standard at 500 CFU/mL or less.
If you have questions about our specific protocols or would like to learn more before your visit, please don't hesitate to reach out — we're proud of our standards and happy to share them.
